FLUOROSINT 500
FLUOROSINT 500 has a resistance to deformation under load 9 times higher than that of virgin PTFE (tested according to ASTM 0621; compressive stress of 14 Mpa at 50°C). Its coefficient of linear thermal expansion approaches the coefficient of expansion of aluminum and is one-fifth that of virgin PTFE. It is significantly harder than virgin PTFE and has better wear resistance, while maintaining a low coefficient of friction. FLUOROSINT 500 is also non-abrasive to most friction surfaces.
Applications
Seals, pressure plates in the dairy industry, cleaning arms, PTFE replacements for wear parts.
Valve seat.
