Molar mass (molecular weight) of approximately 4500000 g/mol. Of all the very high molar mass polyethylene grades, TIVAR 1000 has the most balanced property profile. It combines excellent wear resistance with extraordinary impact resistance, even at temperatures below –200 °C. Main fields of application: general mechanics, bottling and packaging machines, chemical engineering, electroplating, cryogenic equipment, textile industry and bulk material storage and transport systems.

PE HD 1000 R (PE-UHMW)
black / green
Molar mass (molecular weight) of approximately 4000000 g/mol. This grade, partly composed of recycled HD1000, offers lower characteristics than virgin PE HD 1000 at a more economical price. However, compared to PE HD500, PE HD1000 R offers better resilience and wear resistance. Main industries: handling and packaging.
