NYLATRON NSM is a cast polyamide 6 with the incorporation of a solid lubricant which gives this material “self-lubricating” properties, a low coefficient of friction, excellent wear resistance and an exceptional “pv” (pressure x speed) limit (up to 5 times higher than a traditional cast polyamide 6). Being very suitable for the production of non-lubricated sliding parts, subjected to higher sliding speeds, NYLATRON NSM is the perfect complement to ERTALON LFX, our cast polyamide 6, filled with oil.
