ERTALON 6 XAU+ is a cast “heat-protected” polyamide 6 with a dense and optimal crystalline structure. Compared to traditional extruded or cast polyamides, ERTALON 6 XAU+ offers superior resistance to thermal aging in air (better resistance to thermo-oxidative degradation), allowing its use at higher maximum admissible operating temperatures of 15 to 30°C. ERTALON 6 XAU+ is particularly recommended for the production of bearings and other mechanical parts subject to wear, where the temperature exceeds 60°C.
