Compared with conventional polyamides, ERTALON 4.6 (STANYL®) exhibits better retention of stiffness and creep resistance over a wide temperature range, as well as much higher resistance to thermal aging. Therefore, applications for ERTALON4.6 are in the “high temperature range” (80-150°C), where the stiffness, creep resistance, thermal aging resistance, fatigue endurance and wear resistance of PA 6, PA 66, POM and PET are insufficient.
