ERTACETAL® H

This is the virgin grade of polyacetal homopolymer. Compared to the copolymer, the homopolymer has higher tensile strength, stiffness, hardness and creep resistance. It also has a lower coefficient of thermal expansion and often better wear resistance. Main characteristics: high mechanical strength, stiffness and hardness, excellent elasticity, good creep resistance, high impact strength even at low temperatures, very good dimensional stability, good wear resistance and favorable sliding properties, excellent machinability, good dielectric and electrical insulation properties, physiological inertness (suitable for food contact), not self-extinguishing.
