Nylatron™ 66 SA FR flame-retardant polyamide products have been designed to meet the requirements of the Plastics Flammability Test, which evaluates a material's ability to extinguish or propagate a flame after ignition. This test method is defined by UL 94, and this specific grade of Nylatron™ achieves V-0 classification from 1 mm thickness, while complying with EN 45545-2 (specific standard for railway applications). Thanks to these characteristics, PA66 Nylatron™ SA FR components are frequently preferred in the transport and railway sectors, particularly for the manufacture of cable supports, clamps, plugs and connection parts.
